░█▒ Adan and Ilse is a French-Spanish electronic music group with a ▒█░
░█▒ strong New Wave feel, formed in 2012 by Pedro (aka HIV+ and owner ▒█░
░█▒ of the Unknown Pleasures Records label) and Usher (of the cult ▒█░
░█▒ post-punk band NORMA LOY), both quickly joined in the summer of ▒█░
░█▒ that same year by producer Peter Rainman. ▒█░

░█▒ After a first EP entitled "From The Waves," released on the ▒█░
░█▒ French label Space Factory and containing, in addition to their ▒█░
░█▒ original compositions, a remix by David Carretta (which was ▒█░
░█▒ playlisted that same year by DJs Dave Clarke, Alexander ▒█░
░█▒ Robotnick, Plastique De Reve, and Eva Peel), the group released ▒█░
░█▒ two self-produced CD albums in early 2013: "sadisco" and "sadisco ▒█░
░█▒ r3mix3d," featuring remixes by The Horrorist and Christopher Kah, ▒█░

░█▒ In August 2013, they performed live for the first time in Paris ▒█░

░█▒ only concert to date, as the band did not want to waste time and ▒█░
░█▒ energy on this type of exercise, preferring instead to work in ▒█░

░█▒ original synth-pop spirit of the mid-80s Mute Records label. ▒█░

░█▒ At the end of 2014, Adan & Ilse covered "Girl" by the famous New ▒█░
░█▒ York duo Suicide, featuring a special guest vocalist: Gabi ▒█░

░█▒ Iconic New York Legends. In November, they released a 45 rpm ▒█░
░█▒ vinyl record limited to 300 copies, featuring a very personal ▒█░
░█▒ cover of Etienne Daho's "Tombe pour la France," praised by the ▒█░
░█▒ Rennes-based singer himself via his Twitter account. ▒█░
