"We saw this 14-track album for sale on the internet and
immediately bought up as many as possible. The first eleven songs
were recorded in Tamworth in 1983, and appear to have come
directly from the studio where they were laid down (The CD's
sub-title reads Julian Cope at Steve Adams' Studio). The album
features entirely different versions of Quizmaster, Wreck My Car,
and Strasbourg, plus forgotten unreleased songs She Brings Me
Flowers and Jesus Christ & The Mysterons. There are also three
Bonus Songs tacked on at the end which have a reduced sound
quality, Holy Love, Mik Mak Mok and Bill Drummond Said. Julian has
no recollection of where these last three were recorded, but says
they can't be radio sessions as all three are far too orchestrated
for one day recordings. Don't miss this rare gem as we don't know
how long our limited copies will last."

Note on the status of this release: This is meant to look like a
bootleg on the mysterious "Revell Cadet Series" label. I'm
suspicious that this may be a put-on, since the last Julian Cope
Live in Japan bootleg was on the same label, and a quick google of
Revell Cadet Series reveals it to be a line of vintage model cars,
which is a known obsession/hobby of Julian Cope. Moreover, the
list of other bootlegs on this "label", when checked, turns up
nothing on the web, and some of them sound pretty jokey... So, I'm
not tagging this as bootleg; I'm satisfied it's a legit Julian
Cope release done under an assumed labelname to avoid contractual.
