| | Another rarity for you -- this particular | |
| | release here is extremely limited and always | |
| | in high demand! It's the '93 bootleg remixes | |
| | of two certifiable anthems, Jonny L's amazing | |
| | "Hurt U So", quite possibly THE tune of '92, | |
| | and Edge Of Darkness' "Come Together". Both | |
| | tracks take the most recognizable elements of | |
| | their respective originals and tuffen them up | |
| | to a focused euphoric explosion. These | |
| | mixes are rumored to be done by the one like | |
| | Grooverider, but never specifically endorsed | |
| | or denied by him. Regardless of whodunnit, | |
| | these are mixes you'll treasure forever. | |
| | | |
| | And yes, that's correct, there is no label or | |
| | catalogue number. It's called the "black | |
| | label" bootleg mixes because of it coming in | |
| | a black paper sleeve, with a black label on | |
| | the vinyl, and the catalogue number scratched | |
| | out rather emphatically. The only writing | |
| | on the record at all is on each specific | |
| | side -- the A-side says "Respect To Jonny L" | |
| | and the B, "Respect To Edge Of Darkness". | |
| | | |
