ADEPT have announced a new album!
Titled Blood Covenant, the upcoming album from the Swedish metalcore band is
the long-awaited follow-up to 2016Æs Sleepless, and is scheduled to be
released in October this year, via Napalm Records.
The new album marks the bandÆs first studio release in nearly a decade and
features eleven tracks that intends to capture ADEPT at their most intense,
dynamic, and emotionally resonant to date.
Alongside the album announcement, the band have released a new single from
the upcoming album; titled Ignore The Sun, it is the third single to be
released from the record, following on from Heaven and YOU.
Speaking about the new single, the band says, ôwith Ignore The Sun, we really
wanted to capture the full spectrum of what drives us û from relentless,
riff-driven speed and that raw Scandinavian metal intensity, to heavy
metalcore breakdowns that are made to fuel the pit. But itÆs not just about
power; thereÆs also this epic sense of grandeur and a lot of raw emotion
behind it. The lyrics are deeply personal and hit hard, designed to connect
with listeners on a real level, just like the music.ö
Blood Covenant is set for release on October 24th via Napalm Records.
