Jan Boerman is considered to be one of the most important
composers of electronic music in the Netherlands. During a half
a century he has been working on an impressive list of
compositions. His work is put against two compositions by teh
young composer Bas Kalle. Kalle has been inspired by Jan
Boerman amongst other things.
01 Jan Boerman - Musique Concrete (1959)
The first electronic composition by Jan Boerman, a kind of
exercise in handling the electronic equipment.
02 Bas Kalle - Drieluik (2002)
A half a century later the electronic studio has changed a lot.
Composers nowadays use the computer to a great extend. So does
the young Dutch composer Bas Kalle. A few years ago Kalle was
given the opportunity to work with Jan Boerman. This
patrnership has greatly inspired Kalle. In this piece he used
the Golden Section principle, something Jan Boerman also did
extensively. The piece is the result of a combination of three
other compositions, hence the title. The sound of the recorder
and the alto flute were used as the startingpoint.
03 Jan Boerman - Alliage (1960)
This piece was realised shortly after Boerman's first
electronic work, musique concrete, and also at the studio in
Delft. In this studio Boerman experimented a lot with different
soundcolors and the melting of sounds, which can be heared
throughout this piece.
04 Bas Kalle - Trog (2004)
Boerman got a lot of experience in the field of soundcolors and
movement from working on Alliage. Bas Kalle gained insight in
the essence of sound, color, structure and movement from
meeting with Jan Boerman.
05 Jan Boerman - Ru∩ne (1997)
When Jan Boerman wrote this piece, he had alre

Dgn is around since 1998...
After a few years, a few rippers who left, a few who joined, people
greeting, people yelling, people threatening, people helping, people
watching, we're still enjoying our aime: Let ppl listen to what they
are gonna buy b4 they pay a single penny.
There have been also some people and groups that helped out during the
last few years, maybe it's because of them that (against all odds) we
are still releasing and doing well, those know who they are, and we'll
thank forever.
We remind our beloved public, we're against all kind of distrubution,
don't search our rips neither in your preferred XDcc channel, nor in
your local 127.0.0.1 p2p program, We do not distribute ! But it's not
nice to buy when you do not know what you're buying.
As a matter of fact, DGN is a private group, and do not need rippers,
fast or slow shells, traders, t1+ sites, couriers, prewhores, and hw
suppliers, we need only a nice chalet in Switzerland/Canada or a Villa
in the Caribbean sea where to listen to some chillout music.
If you can supply any of those, for free, feel free to contact us for
an application form.
Remember to support the artists.
