OK, this is Peter Gabriel, so let's cut to the chase. The reason for this
release is the rather extraordinary Royksopp remix. Of course, they can
do no wrong at the moment anyway, but this is a remix far removed from the
usual pop-friendly outings of recent. Dramatic in places, sinister and
slightly monotonous, this is probably their least commercial offering on
a darker and seedier side. Squelchy and emphasised by what sounds like
some maracas this is not exactly what I expected to hear from them
especially after the uber-discoey remix of The Streets. Oh, and did I
mention the weird breakdown in the middle of the track? One for the more
open-minded, for sure.
