<M year reissued in the UK by Rising High (RSN CD7). M>

<M When it was first released in 1992 it was the first M>
<M German CD in this music genre and has inspired a lot of M>
<M artists since. It was the beginning of Pete Namlook's M>
<M various collaborations with artists. Silence 1 was made M>
<M together with Dr Atmo (another German ambient space M>
<M cadet). Namlook and his collaborator go a very, very long M>
<M way towards recreating the classic drifting ambience of M>
<M the early 1970s synthesiser greats, while at the same M>
<M time adding new touches, particularly the use of samples. M>

<M This musical movement had started in England of course M>
<M with "The Orb/KLF -Chill Out-" and Mixmaster Morris. And M>
<M it seemed that at that time this kind of music created a M>
<M worldwide community that gave Chill-Out music to the M>
