Solomon "DJ BHE" Bramlett is from Chicago, IL. A DJ who has very
tight, smooth, flawless mixing skills, with Gospel House & Garage
selecations that are all just right on! The BHE DJ mix has wonderful
quality of that deep house Chicago house sound with the soulful
vocal, uplifting Gospel house we all love. Very powerful, motivating
mix.

"I started spinning in 1983. I worked on my spinning skills at clubs,
basement parties, picnics, and making mix tapes during the House
"Glory" Days (1983-1989). My inspiration to spin came from listening
to the Legendary Farley Jackmaster Funk and eventually having an
opportunity to spin with him. During this time, I also met and
befriended the late Legendary Ron Hardy (Music Box).
In 1986, I met Reggie R. (an up and coming House producer) who worked
with Pierre's P Fantasy Club (Fantasy Girl) and Mike "Hitman" Wilson.
Reggie R. and I became a team and put out our first release in 1988
on our own label (Jackstreet Records) and we never looked back.
Together, we have more than 14 years recording experience. We also
released eleven 12 inches/EP's as Jackstreet, Inc and Random Access
on Jackstreet Records, Real House Records and Cajual/ Relief Records.
Currently, we have our own record labels entitled Chicago Mixx
Factory Records (Underground House) and Firm Foundation Records
(Gospel House). In addition to making tracks, I was a resident DJ at
the Hummingbird from 1987 through 1989. In 1990, I began spinning at
The Rapture until 1992. I then began spinning at The Loft until
1994. Currently, I'm a resident dj on gottahavehouse.com and I'm also
an International mobile dj. In 2002, I mixed a compilation CD with a
major record label in Germany and I just completed a three-city tour
in Germany to introduce Gospel House Music. In June of 2002, I was
the top act for the Southern Comfort River Jam in Hamburg. So you
see, from 1983 'til now, I've never stopped working on my skills on
the 1's and 2's and I never will."
