   In the deepest recesses of the earth lies the Oubliette. A place beyond
   mere walls where physical confinement dissolves into an eternal
   spiritual decay. The mouth of the prison swallows all who enter, its
   stone walls suffused with the silent screams and whispers of those long
   forgotten...

   Vixenta's third full-length album THE OUBLIETTE is their darkest and
   most ambitious yet. Drawing heavy inspiration from the raw intensity of
   second wave black metal groups such as Emperor and Enslaved, as well as
   the fractured lore of dark fantasy media such as Dark Souls and
   Castlevania, the album is a descent into the extremes of human despair
   and resilience.
