The project is rather lo-fi-esque, his vocal floating above the ambient
soundscape from time to time. And still exploratory: the hip-hop beats and
jazz-y instrumentals blend effortlessly in "That Don't Make It So," while
"Goodbye Reason, Goodbye Rhyme" (and several more tracks off the album)
sees the multi-instrumentalist go from folk (rock) to more soulful sounds.
Overall a soothing, easy-listening, warm yet introspective effort
