Matisyahu's 8th studio record Ancient Child, out on October 3, 2025, is
a reconnection with roots, a collaboration with family, and a continued
search for meaning in a world of madness. Over the last 20 years the
multifarious musician has been creating an artful salmagundi of
consciousness focused song that pulls from a collective of influences
that includes but is not limited to rap, rock, dancehall, and dub.
On Ancient Child, Matisyahu has developed a record devoid of
descriptors as the storytelling takes center stage. The sonic
