Störmbreaker is a battery for hire with a guitar
fire...a fire which ignited the Minneapolis, Minnesota
hard rock scene shortly after this young 5-piece set
out to conquer the world back in 2018. Voted two years
in a row as Minnesota's "Must See Band" (2019, 2020)
by the Minnesota Music Society (fan votes).
Störmbreaker is quickly winning over new listeners and
creating loyal fans by tapping into their superpower;
a unique ability to create and unleash a modern,
commercial hard rock sound derived from influences
spanning the best of the 1980's Sunset Strip metal
scene through today's most production-conscious rock
artists (think Guns 'n Roses meets Bullet for my
Valentine). This approach to cultivating their
signature sound manifests in each song as a powerful,
intoxicating, and deeply satisfying blend of raw
aggression combined with emotive, melodic hooks.
Störmbreaker's intentional pursuit of their
modernized, arena-metal sound has been validated as a
worthwhile endeavor time and again by fans and
industry players, including agents in Hollywood who
heard one of Störmbreaker's first singles, "Last to
Know" and offered the band a double-header weekend gig
at the world-famous Whisky A Go Go, providing support
for Sunset Strip legends Faster Pussycat and Steven
Adler's Guns 'n Roses.
In addition to their debut album release,
Störmbreaker's second half of 2021 includes
performances at major music festivals (Rockfest 2021,
Cadott, WI, main stage appearance supporting Korn,
Danzig, Chevelle, and others), tour dates with
national acts (including Hinder, FireHouse, Saliva),
and capped by another trip out to Hollywood to rock
The Whisky A Go Go at the end of December, directly
supporting Dokken featuring George Lynch/Lynch Mob.
Bottom line: Störmbreaker is breathing new life into
the dual-lead, 80's era hard rock sound, blending it
with a smart, modern metal undertone
The band goes by Stormbreaker without the ö on DSPs
such as deezer and qobuz, but with it on bandcamp,
etc.
Not to be confused with other bands with "same" name.
