     A collection of 17 previously unreleased tracks.

     The MUTEK 02 compilation reflects the unique character and musical
     diversity of the Third edition of MUTEK. It is a refreshingly
     unobtrusive CD that lends itself to repeated listening, The works
     were selected and fit together with care, in order to offer you a
     sonic immersion that will make you feel as if you are at the
     performance itself.

     The compilation features artists of established reputation -
     Berlin's Jan Jelinek as Farben, the prolific Swede Hσkan Lidbo, the
     incomparable Felix Kubin, Vladislav Delay in collaboration with
     Antye Greie-Fuchs for the AGF/DLAY project - alongside artists only
     recently discovered, notably MexicoÆs Murcof, Montreal duo dioxyde,
     Vancouver's Ben Nevile.

     MUTEK 02 is the follow-up to the compilation that was produced
     during MUTEK 2001. It is an essential addition to the CD collection
     of anyone interested in what's new in the world of electronic
