Started back in Summer of 1999, S.E.M;I began recording material for
the first cd ep titled "Wrong Dose" as an experment project too see
what reactions would come of it, a few minor positive reactions
would come about with the 6 song cd so.. more would follow.....
SEMI went into a full entity crisis of programming and sampling.
Front man Mikµl Orgillon formerly of the groups Death Industry &
A-politiq, started his own path of electronic power dance music in
his own expression. Writing about anything that came to mind during
that time and mindset.
Later.....S.E.M;I and two releases later with he follow up to Wrong
Dose came "IN-HUMAN" in 2000 and in 2001 came "Body Code" as the 3rd
release - So now after times worth of putting new tunes together and
working with various artists in the field: Rudy Ratzinger of:
Wumpscut & Michael Krauss of: FAV & Michael Balch formally of (Front
Line Assembly) and his project Blackland,to name a few....
SEMI leavs the CDC family and joins new forces with Seattle base
lable Syncromesh Audio for new horizons and diverse styles of
electronic dance music.......
Mikµl Orgillon makes his new step into 2002 with the release of the
5th S.E.M;I CD titled "ELECTRIC CELL" 10 tracks and an EP later to
follow....currently titled "LIFE-FORMS". S.e.m;i plans to lead more
and diverse music in the coming years for the, future of SEMI and
its electronic music making history and future.
