Mag Mell is a realm from Irish mythology, a part of the Otherworld.
Its name means "Plain of Delight." It's imagined as a beautiful,
peaceful land reached not by dying, but by crossing into the Otherworld
through magic, a sea voyage, or an encounter with supernatural beings.
In Irish lore, Mag Mell is a place without sickness, aging, or sorrow,
often ruled or guarded by powerful Otherworld figures like Manannán mac
Lir. Instead of being a heaven or afterlife, it's a parallel realm:
bright, strange, and filled with otherworldly beings.
