Dutch techno producer Troy, born and based in The Hague, has long been a
steady presence in the deeper realms of contemporary techno. Known for his
timeless sound on labels such as Klockworks, Non Series, and KEY Vinyl,
Troy continues to explore the intersection of raw energy and refined sound
design.
Function's Infrastructure New York now welcomes Troy with his first Double
EP 'Echoes of Ancient Life' ù a profound excavation of both his past and
the evolving trajectory of his sonic identity.
Composed entirely with the OB-6, the release channels inspiration from
ancient and forgotten civilizations ù their echoes resonating through
layers of analog warmth and hypnotic repetition. Across these 8 tracks,
Troy constructs a continuum between the mystical and the mechanical: deep,
tunneling synth lines, evolving textures, and precise rhythmic flow.
From the slower beginnings to the more uptempo and propulsive closing
