chance to catch up with the two very highly regarded vinyl eps
released by the amalgamation of soundz over the last few months. it
also includes a previously unreleased track, orchid, and a new mix
of hut. djs jean-claude thompson and mark harbottle have been
working together as the amalgamation of soundz for several years
intent on fusing dance/breakbeat with various ethnic styles. tearz
for yadz is a haunting, iranian flavoured epic; fiesta de castellon
is an uptempo, latin house track while maternal blues is a
downtempo broody hip-hop odder; 63rd siute is more of a deep
musicality; cat in the rain is a more sleazy affair but still
retains an edge for the dancefloor; hut is more uptempo, breakbeat
