The bass: A mechanical masterpiece at the heart of the
groove. The beats: Roll along as smooth as the four wheels
under the flowing streamlines of a low-riding sports car.
Melodies glisten like liquid streaks of fuel, delirious
vocal snippets like flashing lights on the wet tarmac of a
nocturnal metropolis: Niki Sadeki takes us on two intensely
cinematic rides. Her sound develops steadily, from start to
finish, the delicate HD layers of sound growing organically
upon each other, around each other. Every element is always
present, but never in an obvious way. With three equally
inventive and diverse remixes, as well as a variety of
different versions, this EP is a bold statement that will
have not a single, but a whole series of serious impacts on
the dancefloors and the scene.
