| Explore and Reshape Distant Worlds! Astroneer is set during the |
| 25th century Intergalactic Age of Discovery, where Astroneers |
| explore the frontiers of outer space, risking their lives in harsh |
| environments to unearth rare discoveries and unlock the mysteries |
| of the universe. |

| On this adventure, players can work together to build custom bases |
| above or below ground, create vehicles to explore a vast solar |
| system, and use terrain to create anything they can imagine. A |
| player's creativity and ingenuity are the key to seeking out and |
| thriving while on exciting planetary adventures! In Astroneer you |
| can: |

| - Reshape the ground under your feet as though it were made of |
| clay. |
| |
| - Survive on and explore carefully crafted planets that can be |
| entirely deformed and traversed. |

| - Snap together components and objects to build bases and vehicles. |

| - Play with friends in 4 player online drop-in/drop-out co-op. |

| In Astroneer, players use their deform tool to dig, collect, shape |
| and build anything they wish. Use this ability to dig to the center |
| of the planet, build a ramp into the sky, or make megaliths just by |
| using terrain! |

| In the ASTRONEER: Megatech DLC, players unlock the ability to build |
| massive Megastructure projects that will test their Basebuilding |
| skills using new and existing technology. Each Megastructure will |
| have its own unique identity and gameplay, unlocking new |
| possibilities and rewards. Harness the power of Megatech to take |
| Basebuilding and Automation to a whole new level! This DLC will be |
| completely compatible with existing saves, and builds off of any |
| progress you've already made in game, feel free to start fresh, or |
| load up your existing saves and start building! |
| |
| In addition, this DLC will be released alongside a free update for |
| all players. The free update will include new items and the ability |
| to create a Megastructure that will allow automated interplanetary |
| transportation. That means you will be able to move resources and |
| technology between planets! |
| |
| Build Megastructure Projects. |
| |
| A new level of basebuilding has been unlocked in Astroneer. Pick |
| the perfect spot, launch a Construction Anchor via a very safe |
| space catapult, and then start amassing resources to feed to a mega |
| drone! Gather resources the old fashioned way, with your terrain |
| tool, or use more advanced strategies to automate production and |
| watch your Megastructures build themselves. Every megastructure has |
| unique benefits, boosts, and boons that will help you on your |
| journey to master the solar system. This update contains 5 |
| Megastructure projects, some free, and some part of the DLC: |
| |
| 1. The Intermodal Terminal (free for all players) - Your personal |
| shipping hub in the solar system. Send items and resources between |
| planets via three shuttles, and even use automation tools like |
| rails, sensors, and auto arms to automatically ship the things you |
| need to the places you want them. |
| |
| 2. Distribution Launcher System (free for all players) - A |
| foundational Megastructure that helps you begin your mega projects. |
| Load it up with the resources necessary to launch an anchor to your |
| desired spot, then let this high speed launcher deliver it with |
| precision. |
| |
| 3. The Biodome (part of the Megatech DLC) - This megastructure is |
| all about the green. Use this advanced technology to automate flora |
| generation and gain unique benefits with Bio-huts, add-ons that can |
| expand the functionality of the main dome. |
| |
| 4. The Orbital Platform (part of the Megatech DLC) - This is the |
| big one! The Orbital Platform is all about terrain and building |
| space bases. Expand the bounds of the platform with terrain blocks |
| that are completely flat to get creative, or build the space base |
| of your dreams. You can also modify the asteroid at the center of |
| the platform! |
| |
| 5. The Museum (part of the Megatech DLC) - The Museum is all about |
| prestige. Have you been making thousands of Nanocarbon Alloy |
| nuggets for show? Well now you can put them somewhere that will |
| track that hard work. Build automation bases to contribute bytes, |
| resources, and power that will be tracked for all to see in the |
| museum. You can also display your rare collections of items here. |

| |
| In addition to the aforementioned free Megastructures, this update |
| also has new items and fixes for all players! Players will now be |
| able to organize their bases with icon signs, elevated walkways, |
| and an automatic tether dropping item! |
