Another project of Clint Listing who runs Dragon Flight Recordings
and is in a number of other bands such as As All Die, Long Winter's
Stare, and Along the Rails of Change. When Joy Becomes Saddness
shares a similiar ambient sound like what is found with Along the
Rails of Change. Actually he also released a CD with the same title
as this one under that project. This release comes in a DVD case and
is printed on a black CDR.
Press:
This project shares Clint Listing with As All Die and Long Winter's
Stare. The sound on this release is ritual ambience; elusive to
direct listening, pervasive as sonic brainwash. Nocturnal messages
bleed through a tapestry of dislocated voices and isolated drones,
hinting at the auguries of inner reflection. The beauty beneath
dimly glows through a tangle of vine-like fragments. Grotesque,
puzzling and luminous.

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!
By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
ATTENTiON: There is currently a 0day group operating under the name "AmoK"!
These individuals (mostly re-releasing cracks for the "webscene") are
in NO WAY releated with AMOK and we expect 0day staff to nuke their
releases as "fake" wherever uploaded!
