   Originally dubbed The Royal Spades, The Mar-Keys formed in 1958, and despite
   never achieving massive chart success, they are regarded as a hugely
   important group. The line-up included renowned musicians such as as guitarist
   Steve Cropper and bassist Donald "Duck" Dunn, who went on to co-found Booker
   T & The MG's. The band emerged from the Memphis music scene and they were the
   first house band for the legendary Stax label. This collection brings you
   some of the best hits from the Mar-Keys whilst also containing some rare
