██ "Recycled Garbage" consists of remixes of four songs on the ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ "18 Carat Garbage" album. Some were previously released on ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ singles on Billie's own Sonnenstahl label during two years. ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ Tracks were chosen by the Sonnenstahl 'camp' (Billie and ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ Michael Huber), keeping in mind the wishes of their German ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ distributor and those of Billie's fans. ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ The remix album came into being for several reasons. Two ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ Junior Vasquez remixes had become 'available' in early 2002, ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ but there was no apparent release in sight that they could ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ be included on. It wasn't perceived to be wise to release a ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ third single off "18 Carat Garbage", as no major ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ distribution deal seemed to materialise for the album. The ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ third single would have been either "18 Carat Garbage" or ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ "Ten Minutes On A Tuesday Afternoon In Buffalo". Instead, a ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ remix album was decided on. By this time, even "Ten Minutes" ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ had been remixed, but it was eventually dropped from the ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ track list. ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ The only completely unreleased remix (Vasquez "Garbage") ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ starts off the album (01), while the other Vasquez mix (08) ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ appears the first time on a BRM release, having been ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ featured on Vasquez' own compilation earlier. Rare remixes ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ are lifted off vinyl-only BRM releases (mostly promos) (05, ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ 06, 07, 09, 10), and some appear as previously unreleased ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ edits (05, 10, 11). Perhaps due to time restrictions - the CD██ ▓▌▀▒▄
██ is over 78 minutes long - one mix (09) is faded slightly ██ ▓▌▀▒▄
