It's perhaps fitting that Parisian label Industrial Light's first missive
of 2026 should come from its founder, underground hero and rising star
Aleqs Notal. He first whisks us towards the farthest reaches of the solar
system on the hypnotic, ultra-deep and percussively loose-limbed tech-house
of 'Indistinct Chatter', before opting for a similarly far-sighted but
slightly moodier vibe on the electro-not-electro headiness of 'Heartproof'.
Flipside opener 'Am I Dreaming' is a lightly acid-flecked chunk of
tech-tinged deep house perfection, while closing cut 'Behind The Noise' is
a heady and enveloping shuffle through deep electro territory.
