Stacy Kidd is an underground trooper. He has recorded for a
plethora of well-respected labels, such as NYC's Yellorange,
Chi-Town's Dancemania, the sadly defunct Cajual, London's
ubiquitous Peacefrog, and the Dutch imprint After Midnight.
This was the first release on Terrence Parker's Real Right label
outta Detroit but Kidd's production is firmly in classic Chi
style--uplifting, soulful vocal samples and time-honored disco
licks with driving four-to-the-floor beats.
On track A The Sanford & Son theme gets seriously messed with and
track b carries the vibe a bit further though dunno the source.
