The second *real* full length album from Grunsplatter. Gritty and
rough mix of death industrial and noisy dark ambience. Grunsplatter
is Scott E. Candey, who I believe is in the band Umbra, but don't quote
me on that! The CD comes in a nice digipak decorated with raven imagery.
Written and recorded at Life of the Mind Summer 2001-Spring 2002 San
Francisco, California.

GRUNTSPLATTER came to be in late 1994. It is a maleable creature that
hovers in the gray area between abrasive Noise and Dark Ambient by
combining the atmosphere of one with the density of the other. An area
I have come to call Noise Ambient. Mood and depth of composition have
continually been of the first importance for GRUNTSPLATTER. They are
really the only goals I have with music, to make something evocative and
subtle in it's detail.
Influenced primarily by my mood and immediate state of mind GRUNTSPLATTER
also draws, though somewhat esoterically, from literature, history, and
the death rattles and rituals an eroding gene pool.
