Release Notes:
Marieve Herington began pursuing her twin passions
of acting and singing at the age of nine.
At the age of 16 Marieve put together her own jazz
band, Marieve and her Midnight Blues and began
playing jazz festivals, restaurants and private/
corporate events. Then she was contacted by Jaymz
Bee at Jazz FM 91.1 and soon after began recording
her first album, Blossoming, under her own label
Maribelle Records, is now available on the Timely
Manor Label, and distributed through Fontana
North/Universal. The album will feature tracks in
both English and her mother tongue, French, mostly
from her favourite jazz artist Blossom Dearie.
Marieve is in second year at the University of
Toronto majoring in Drama, performs on the Toronto
jazz circuit with the Babes in Jazzland and members
of The Royal Jelly Orchestra, and can be heard as
the voice of super spy Delilah on Decode
Entertainment's new show Delilah and Julius which
airs every day on Teletoon.
