> Notes:
On a quest to keep deep house true to its roots
while bringing it into the modern age at the same
time, Ooft! are clear in their aims to keep things
atmospheric on this new EP on their Foto imprint.
Just listen to the haunting tones of" Galaxy High",
with its uplifting pads, strings and leads and only
the most gentle of rhythmic guides. " Arbitrary" is
more solidly built, but still the languid chords
rule the day, creating an addictive brew of deep
house with a sense of purpose. " LGB" leans towards
a more punchy 80s disco tip, but still they can't
help making those synths cosmic and seductive
enough to duck away from revivalism.
