Release Notes:
--------------
"I envisioned a music that came straight from the gut and really
penetrated people very deeply, in a way thatÆs very individual. I term a
lot of my shows as æsomaticÆ, which means æpertaining to the bodyÆ, and I
always try to shoot for that, to move the body. One person asked me,
whatÆs the difference between your music and rock music, and I said, well,
rock music seems to penetrate the muscular system; itÆs trying to get you
to dance, to bang your head, tap your toes. I want to go towards the
nervous system, or the psych system, where it hits your mind and body.
Hopefully in a way that can bring out personal memories, or dreams, or
visions. After my shows or even with my recordings, a lot of people tell
me that they found my music gave them a personal experience; memories of
their first dreams or nightmare, or something beautiful. That always
inspires me, how my music can hit people very individually, as opposed to
a mass phenomenon. Music in the 20th century is based on entertainment
value; my music canÆt be called entertainment, itÆs something with a
little bit more, something with a heart in it, and thatÆs what I strive
forûhonesty at the purest level, something you can hear loud and clear."
