while the european music press has pegged the vienna scene as a
haven of chic groovology to match its modern-design legacy, groups
like the sofa surfers buck the stereotyping with their raw sound:
"encounters", sofa surfers third full length studio album, is due
to release on january 28th 2002. feat. dj collage, dΣlek, junior
delgado, dev1, the bionic kid, jeb loy nichols, dawna lee, lil
desmond levy, oddateee, mc santana, sensational and mark stewart,
the albums rich, back-alley sonic atmospheres read almost like an
elliptical aural guidebook to the wonders of end-days metropolis.
