| In the last year Freestyle Man aka Sasse has been busy remixing, |
| producing (under his numerous aliases) and running Moodmusic |
| among other things. So it┤s with some surprise and happiness we |
| present a new Freestyle Man release on Sunday Music. The SMR-002 |
| Soultrance EP and his production on SMR-003 Mini Sampler showed |
| the deeper side of things from him - we like to call it the |
| original Freestyle Man Sound - and the SMR-006 "This Side Of The |
| Moog" Sasse keeps the delivery on the same level Deep House - Not |
| Deep House discussions can be held in the Sanatoriums, we rock |
| the floors with this 12-inch with 2 very different productions, |
| both keeping the floor nailed from the first moment on. The |
| A-side "This Side.." chugs along with a monster deep bassline, |
| quirky keys and some low key effects, keeping the tension on |
| hi-alert on this 10 minute journey of afro-funk. The b-side |
| "Vortex" builds up with effected percussion and live bass, it┤s |
| growing with neat synth stabs and atmospheric strings til the |
| break drops and lifts the track to another dimension. |
