NOTES:
Mike Nasty was born Michael A. Mason in Harrisburg, PA on
April 17, 1979. He was raised in Harrisburg most of his life
with the exception of the two years he lived in St. Louis,
Missouri. He started writing music at 12 years of age and
was very popular in high school with talent shows, concerts,
etc. Mike owned his own night club at 17 years old, while
still attending high school. He was destined to be
successful as an entrepreneur. In 2001, Mike released his
first album with his group NRL (National Rap League) under
his label, "Flattline Entertainment". He had everything
working - the hottest club, a family, money - until July 17,
2001 when he caught his wife with another man in a car and
went on a high speed chase with gunfire ensuing. He accepted
a plea agreement. Probation and a deep depression followed.
Unable to focus on music, Mike turned to the streets.
Respected and known for his street savvy, in 2004 he was
sentenced to State time for PWI and his probation rescinded
for State time. While the lowest of times seemed at hand the
judge's recommendation of boot camp for Mike was undoubtedly
the best thing that could have happened. It gave him the
time he needed to reflect and change both mentally and
physically; and when he returned in December 2005, he was
very creative and back on track. He went back to his music
with a vengeance and finished working on his solo album,
"Monopoly Money". Presented with a challenge, he overcame
the obstacles, with the help of his Flattline team, Andrew
Hill, Director of Promotions, and Michael Gerace, President.
Along with his music and ownership of J L's Auto, 2007
should be very promising for Flattline Entertainment.
You might know him from NRL-National Rap League. Here is
Mike Nasty's solo album. ENJOY FUCKERS!
