dXb For the third release since their inception, Tic Tac dXb
dXb Toe RecordsÆ offshoot, Connect Four Records, enlist a dXb
dXb relative newcomer to the global dance music scene, dXb
dXb Murat Ozer. This Turkish producer has been influenced dXb
dXb by some of the more electronic pop producers and acts dXb
dXb in the 80's, such as Depeche Mode, Tears for Fears, dXb
dXb and Human League. That inspiration transfers to this dXb
dXb three track EP of deep minimal tech house music. dXb
dXb Connect Four bring on local Copenhagen producer dXb
dXb Theodor Zox to take the remixing reigns for this dXb
dXb project, his first for the label. With two releases dXb
dXb on the parent label Theodor brings a sound that fits dXb
dXb perfectly with the overall vibe of the release. dXb

dXb Connect Four start off strong on this EP with the dXb
dXb Theodor Zox remix of the title track, 'Unbound'. This dXb
dXb song is the fattest of the bunch with a solid thick dXb
dXb bass tone. Arped bells create an ambiance here that dXb
dXb layers well with the delayed stabs and melodic lines dXb
dXb in the song. The round bass tone will set up well as dXb
dXb warm up material. While the textures created are dXb
dXb beautiful, there is a notion of dreariness, with the dXb
dXb icy, cool swirls that are created. The melody is what dXb
dXb creates the groove that carries the song, while the dXb
dXb percussion builds energy slowly. I would like to see dXb
dXb a bit more dynamic and progression from the melody dXb
dXb work, but I think this song works well for what it dXb

dXb Next up is the title track from Murat, entitled dXb
dXb 'Unbound'. He creates a very chilled out vibe with dXb
dXb this track, as the atmosphere floats very slowly back dXb
dXb and forth. The bassline is lazy and fat, with dXb
dXb beautiful melody and voice leading between the dXb
dXb sounds. As the song progresses you get lost in the dXb
dXb rhythm, this song is gorgeous. dXb

dXb A round swelling atmosphere greets some ping-ponging dXb
dXb percussive elements in 'Vicious Circles'. It is dXb
dXb almost as if the ambiance is circling your head as dXb
dXb the groove progresses along. We then launch into a dXb
dXb deeply dubbed techno groove matching the air of the dXb
dXb track very smoothly. The bassline changes keys along dXb
dXb with the melodic stabs to create some beautiful dXb
dXb textures, which then meld into a melodic arped line dXb
dXb to take this dreamy track to its finish. dXb

dXb 'Yip' is actually my pick of the bunch, as it dXb
dXb showcases a great percussive groove built over cool, dXb
dXb dubbed out chords. The song is very dynamic in its dXb
dXb progression, and works well in building energy in dXb
dXb your set. Icy vibes give way to a warmth and energy dXb
dXb once the chords start to change. The electro stabs dXb
dXb accentuate a great melody and the pad work in this dXb
dXb song showcases some great movement in the sounds. dXb
dXb This is summer time vibes at its best, and this one dXb
dXb is sure to go down well over the coming months. dXb

dXb The 'Unbound EP' is one for those whose enjoy deep dXb
dXb melodic grooves. While relatively cool in nature, dXb
dXb this would fair well as early set material. Mood dXb
dXb setting and special, this is music to stimulate dXb
dXb conversation while you warm the club up or to relax dXb
dXb on the beach with. While these tracks dont really get dXb
dXb my blood pumping, this is an excellent EP of deep dXb
dXb melodic music. Connect Four Records seem to have a dXb
dXb certain vibe to their music that I hope to see dXb
dXb continue in the future, with releases and remixes dXb
dXb from Jonny White, Cbass & Mikobene, James Teej, and dXb
dXb Daso to come in the next few months. dXb
