   The late sixties and early seventies proved to be a fertile era for the Miami
   music scene. Those in the know, know that it was the heavy influx of Cuban
   musicians who had recently migrated to Miami from their homeland as being
   responsible for upping the musical ante. Ray Fernandez was the first Cuban
   musician to incorporate American funk and soul rhythms into the Cuban mix and
   was truly the "King" of the Miami Cuban music community. Many Miami musicians
   who are well renowned today have, at one time or another, passed through
   Ray's court. Enjoy this anthology.
