Deeply immersive, atmo-black, like the debut EP,
ritualistic & hypnotic, Abkehr is a recently discovered
gem for me. This is supposedly a first LP, a
full-length, though it is also 4 tracks, and barely a
few minutes longer than their debut EP... consistent
with the top tier quality of their debut then, also in
length. It's grim and dark in nature, just like its
predecessor, bleak and cathartic. Another trip down into
the abyss, with no way out.
