Melodic death metal band NECROCOSM release new EP 'TO THE DEPTHS.' Coming
after 11 years of stasis, 'TO THE DEPTHS' is a resurgence of visceral,
melodic death metal in the wake of deepening divisions and cultural
fracturing in the world today.
Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, NECROCOSM formed in 2011 and released
their debut demo in 2013. After a couple years honing their sound in the
underground scene, 2015 saw the release of their full-length debut
"Damnation Doctrine."
'TO THE DEPTHS,' is an album of decay, in terms of both subject matter
and the explorative nature of the band's renewed vision. Filthy riffs,
technical drums, tempestuous vocals and blazing solos establish the EP's
melodic, dynamic sound.
Regarding the release, NECROCOSM states: "To The Depths conjures a
suffocating vision of a world where the established order decays from
within. Our lineup and sound have evolved-brewing and festering with
melodic riffs, intricate solos, blistering technical drumming, and
haunting, serrated vocals."
