Farscape is a Brazilian thrash metal band formed in Rio
de Janeiro in 1998. Known for their raw and aggressive
sound, Farscape draws heavily on the classic thrash
influences of the 1980s, particularly bands like Slayer,
Kreator, and Exodus. Their music is characterized by
fast-paced guitar riffs, relentless drumming, and gritty
vocals, staying true to the old-school thrash metal
spirit that dominated the underground metal scene during
the genre's heyday.
The band's early lineup included founding members who
were passionate about the thrash scene and sought to
revive the genre's ferocity. Farscape released their
debut album, Demon's Massacre, in 2003, which garnered
attention in the global thrash community for its
authentic sound and aggressive style. Their subsequent
albums, such as Killers on the Loose (2006) and
Primitive Blitzkrieg (2013), solidified their status as
one of the premier Brazilian thrash metal acts, blending
blistering speed with a raw, DIY ethos.

time and the darker, more rebellious side of the metal
