│release notes.
Prescription is widely regarded as one of the most influential Deep
House imprints of the period, blending the Chicago and Detroit
sensibilities of its founders into something wholly unique.
Prescription, together with it's sister label Balance, introduced
the likes of Anthony Nicholson, Abacus, Glen Underground (CVO),
Moodymann, Norma Jean Bell, Joshua, Peven Everett, Rob Mello, and
Luke Solomon to the world.
This is one of the signature releases of the label, recently
reissued and remixed for the Vault Series. While the tracks are
untitled A2 later appeared under the title "Sometimes I Feel Like"
(popping up both on Derrick Carter's Blue Cucaracha label and Ron
Trent's "Primitive Arts" LP) and B2 is RT's classic "I Feel The
Rhythm".
"With my hands I listen to life, and my hands pulse and beat in
every moment one. My hands receive so much, and in return,
returning what I want to give, give even more." - Patrick Burton
