Soiree Records International was established in 1990 by Derrick
Thompson and is still active today. The label focuses on deep
house, late night grooves & intelligent electronic rhythm concepts.
Dwayne Jensen is a perennial figure on the Detroit scene who claims
a lineage from the the early 80s right through to Third Ear's 2002
Beatdown compilation for which contributed a track. Dwayne's labels
are Fathom, Beat-U-Down, and Session Records.
4 uncompromising eclectic and jackin "old school" Detroit House
tracks complete with (very) raw production for that "heard on a
pirate cassette" vibe. You need this.
