Soiree Records International was established in 1990 by Derrick
Thompson and is still active today. The label focuses on deep
house, late night grooves & intelligent electronic rhythm concepts.
Don't be fooled by the "Acid" here...the sound is pure jazzy house
with a real improvisational feeling on these tracks from
Drivetrain, all remixes of the track "Acid Ensemble" from the "Deep
Animation" EP (SRT 112) which released some recognition at the time
due to its inclusion on several jazzy house comps. The final mix
"Acid Love" takes out the beats leaving just keys and incidental
percussion.
