The new four tracker by Soiree's veteran vocalist, Glenn Vernon,
delivers a wide spectrum of intelligent music. Opening up, Norm
Talley makes his debut on Soiree. 'Late Night Creeper' is an after
hours track, showcasing Mr. Talley's signature Detroit Beat Down
style. A dreamy keyboard backdrops a driving rhythm track and
tweaked out vocal samples.
Next on the A side, Dorian Gig makes a return to Soiree with his
Deep Jazz Mix. Exactly as the title implies, this mix has a very
jazzy feel. Featuring guitar riffs, a thick, rolling baseline and
sophisticated percussions, this track is sure to get much late
night turntable time.
One the AA side, Drivetrain is back with another bangin' mix. The
Ground Zero Mix contains a rhythm track which was absolutely
sculptured for the dancefloor, with filtered vocals on top and an
amazing vibe solo to boot. A mix which will surely move bodies.
And closing on side AA is the Vocal Edit Mix which is taken from
the original mix, appearing on 'Nocturnia 2 - The Soiree Records
Collection' cd. Glenn displays all of the soulful vocal abilities
which we have come to expect from him on over a deep house groove.
