    │release notes.

In the early 80s, a 12-year-old kid out of Chicago named Jordan
Fields had already taught himself to break-dance, DJ and make
     re-edits using a boombox and a little pause-button dexterity.
Inspired by his older brother, he became a fanatic about mixing and
scratching and soon found himself DJing in the earliest days of
what would later be known as the Chicago House scene.

Hooking up with Rick Lenoir (producer of LNR's "Work It to the
Bone"- House Jam) in the early 90s, Fields released his first
single The Thrillseekers EP, a jazzy house classic featuring Jordan
on the mic scatting. Dozens of releases later on both major and
indie labels, Fields has refined a sophisticated, soulful groove
that has made him a household name the world over.

This is one of two EPs Jordan cut for Belgium's SSR and as befits
the label style it is an adventurous one, taking in disco,
downtempo and deep Chicago (and Detroit) stylings (often in the
same track). Check out what he's done with Space's "Carry On, Turn
Me On" on A2 (same year as KDJ took on the same source). A
     complete gem.

Note: A1 and A2 and B1 and B2 gently segue on the original so we
have separated the tracks here and applied small fader effects.
