    │release notes.

In the early 80s, a 12-year-old kid out of Chicago named Jordan
Fields had already taught himself to break-dance, DJ and make
     re-edits using a boombox and a little pause-button dexterity.
Inspired by his older brother, he became a fanatic about mixing and
scratching and soon found himself DJing in the earliest days of
what would later be known as the Chicago House scene.

Hooking up with Rick Lenoir (producer of LNR's "Work It to the
Bone"- House Jam) in the early 90s, Fields released his first
single The Thrillseekers EP, a jazzy house classic featuring Jordan
on the mic scatting. Dozens of releases later on both major and
indie labels, Fields has refined a sophisticated, soulful groove
that has made him a household name the world over.

Fields dropped this EP for Chicago's Lazyboy Records and as the
title "Retro Explorations" suggests he's revisiting classic grooves
in his own style. On A1 and A3 its "Love Hangover," on B2 it's
"There But For The Grace Of God Go I" and we swear we hear a smidge
of the bridge from Womack & Womack's "Baby I'm Scared Of You"

Fave track is actually B1 except for perhaps the heavy filtering.
