Soiree Records International was established in 1990 by Derrick
Thompson and is still active today. The label focuses on deep
house, late night grooves & intelligent electronic rhythm concepts.
Key Statements may be an early Scott Grooves alias, certainly as DJ
Scott he turns in two deep (think Burrell bros. deep) mixes of
"Over You"--a1 with the full vocal and a2 being an instrumental jam
on the theme). Derrick (as Drivetrain) turns in one jazzy
embellishment (aa1) and one very effective dubbed out rework (aa2)
on the flip. Vocals by Miyon Bryant of the City Boy Players.
