The Boogoos are a new combo which combines the heavy rhythm section of heroes
like James Brown with the unbelievable power of the horn section of Fela Kuti.
Their unique styles is an incredible melting pot of different kinds of music,
with influences from the likes of Hugh Masekela, Art Ensemble Of Chicago and
even some funkier bands. DJs will love "Bubbles", especially the b-side, which
starts with a monster drum and percussion, just perfect for the dancefloor! If
you dig Antibalas or the Timmion crew out of Finland, you will be pleased with
this release on Tramp. The Boogoos includes members of the former Poets Of
Rhythm, current members of The Hi-Fly Orchestra and The Express Brass Band, all
