storyline but across 2 divergent timelines, demonstrating how the choices
that are made influence what happens next. Watching events unfold
differently based on Orianna's decisions is clever writing, and the band
mirrors this in the musical compositions with melodies that feel brighter
on the light path and more brooding and even approaching sinister at
times on the dark path. One cool connection I discovered is that there
are key melody lines that reprise across the album, exemplifying the
interconnectedness of the story and music despite the divergent
timelines."
