Release Notes:
M.Y.M.P. (Make Your Momma Proud) is a Filipino acoustic band comprised of Juris
Fernandez (lead vocals) and Chin Alcantara (guitar and occasional vocals). They
are a group of individuals known for covering old songs and 90's hits into the
acoustic style.
I understand there is a pop in track 12 at exactly 1m02s372ms. This was ripped
in secure mode, and all attempts to remove this have failed. It pops in all my
CD players. My CD is a retail pressed copy, with virtually no scratches.
My assumption is this occured in the mastering stage of production. It is a
Philippine production after all, and their technology isn't quite state of the
art yet. If you run some analysis on the file, you'll see the position of the
pop does not exceed the Lame lowpass in spectral analysis, further bolstering
my belief. There have been a few mainstream albums with pops, even in the retail
version. A good example of this would be Akon's Konvicted. Track 3 has a pop at
exactly 06s060ms, which was ripped by the best.
As proof that my CD is a scatchless retail copy, I took a pic of the underside
of the CD in a mirror so it doesn't look like I'm BS'ing the pic with a
different CD.
