▓ This is a re-issue of Capital Letter's debut 1979 classic ▓
▓ "Headline News" album, now fully re-mastered with a bonus ▓
▓ CD. Capital Letters were one of the main players in the ▓
▓ distinctive homegrown British roots reggae scene that ▓
▓ emerged in the late 70's and were the first group to be ▓
▓ signed to Greensleeves. Along with groups like Matumbi, ▓
▓ Aswad, Black Slate, Steel Pulse, and Reggae Regular, ▓
▓ Capital Letters managed to break down many of the ▓
▓ prejudices. ▓
▓ As well as the original album, this reissue contains the ▓
▓ full length 12" mixes of "UK Skanking", "Smoking My ▓
▓ Ganja" and "Natty Walk" and a bonus CD, the highly ▓
▓ sought-after "Bread and Water" 7" EP, a ska-flavoured ▓
▓ quartet of tracks, which was released in 1980 - a nod to ▓
▓ the massive Two Tone scene that was taking place in the ▓
▓ UK at the time. These four tracks appear on CD for the ▓
▓ first time, with the original 7" label artwork on the ▓
▓ disc. Capital Letter's Comes complete with extensive ▓
▓ sleeves notes and rare and unseen photos. A must-have ▓
▓ slice of UK reggae and a perfect social document of the ▓
