     Northern Irish-Scottish alt-rock outfit Snow Patrol have earned
     multi-platinum success with their earnest tunes, open-hearted melodies,
     and stadium-sized sound. After getting their feet wet on indie labels and
     making a splash with their 2003 major label debut "Final Straw", they
     broke through to the big time with 2006's "Eyes Open", which featured the
     international hit single "Chasing Cars".
     They continued with a pair of UK Top Ten platinum efforts, 2008's "A
     Hundred Million Suns" and 2011's "Fallen Empires". After an extended
     six-year hiatus during which time frontman Gary Lightbody worked as a
     songwriter for pop artists, the band returned with 2018's "Wildness",
     hitting the UK Top Five. Their sixth album, the Fraser T. Smith-produced
     "The Forest Is The Path", arrived in 2024.
     The 20th anniversary deluxe 2CD edition of "Eyes Open" expands one of the
     UK's most successful albums with an entire bonus disc of live and
     stripped-back recordings from Union Chapel and live in Berlin, alongside
     remixes.
     The original album, featuring the era-defining "Chasing Cars", is joined
     by rare material and enhanced with new sleeve notes written by Gary
     Lightbody, offering fresh insight into the record's legacy.
