The baile funk trio from Curitiba, Brazil -
championed previously in OMM ('Flash Forward',
OMM43) - may be hooked on the kind of cheesy riffs
last served warmed-over by the Darkness, the beats
might sound as if they were scavenged from a
scrapyard, and you might not be able to understand a
word (which might be good news: one track details a
most unhygienic sex act). But Bonde Do Role are even
better than that suggests: each of the 13 tracks
here is dangerously infectious - party music for
this long hot summer that seems already to have
started.
