a very cool selection of female french pop from the 60s --
featuring a wealth of singers we've never heard before! some of
the tracks on the set are versions of english-language hits, and
others are original french numbers with a really hip, mod, go-go
approach. the overall sound here is similar to some of france
gall's best work from the mid 60s -- touched with traces of some
of the brit girl singers, but handled with some great instrumental
touches that remind us a lot of work on the sublime get easy
volume 3 compilation. titles include "7 heures du matin" by
jacqueline taieb, "partie de dames" by liz brady, "je suis
sublime" by elizabeth, "fille ou garcon" by stone, "j'ai peur
parfois" by adele, "l'adorable femme des neiges, "idelisation" by
